Mr. Shehu Yakubu-Concern is the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Springboard Trust and Investment Limited, one of the leading Stock broking and Investment banking firm in Nigeria. A 1987 graduate of Administration from Ahmadu Bello University Zaria with Thirty years of experience, most of which were at Senior Management Levels in both private and public sectors of the economy. He is an authorized dealing Clerk of The Nigerian Exchange (NGX) and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers.
He has over Twenty five (25) years of practical professional experience in Portfolio Management, Primary Market Operations, Financial Consulting and Stock Dealing. He worked in various capacities with Arewa Hotels Development Limited where he served as an Investment Analyst before joining the Nigerian Institute of International Affairs as an Admin/Special Assistant to the Director of Administration and Finance. In 1992, he was invited to the Corporate Affairs Department of Rims Merchant Bank Limited and later transferred to the investment arm of the Bank (Rims Securities Limited).
He left Rims Group in 1995 to set up Reward Investment and Services Limited with the former President of The Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers from where he resigned in 2000 as Head of Operations to steer the Management team of Springboard Trust and Investment Limited. He has actively participated in a numbers of issues in Primary and Secondary Market. Mr Yakubu-Concern is formidable in deal origination, structuring and execution with experience in corporate restructuring as well as advisory services.
Mr. Joe ABBA
Executive Director – Administration
He is a seasoned Administrator, a Marketing Technocrat and Asset Manager. He holds a Post Graduate Diploma and a master degree in Business Administration with specialization in Marketing Management. He is a member of several professional bodies. Among them is the fellowship of National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria and Certified Pension Institute of Nigeria, an alumni member of the Lagos Business School. His work experience spans over 2 (Two) decades of practical capital market operations. He has attended several seminars and training on Portfolio/Asset Management in Nigeria and overseas. He is a pioneer member of staff of the company and currently the Executive Director (Administration).
Mr. Shehu Osahon BAGANA
Chief Compliance Officer
He is a graduate of Business Administration and Management from Federal Polytechnic Bida, Niger State. He obtained a Master Degree (MBA) from the University of Calabar. He is a Fellow of The Certified Pension Institute of Nigeria and full member of Portfolio Management Institute (P.M.I.) and a member of Certified Risk & Compliance Management Professionals (CRCMP). A pioneer staff of the organisation, he has a broad scope of stock broking operations, Asset Management and Client Management Relations. Mr. Bagana Shehu is the Chief Compliance Officer of the company.
Mrs. Bose HENRY-JACOBS
Head, Dealing
Bose is a graduate of the prestigious Kaduna polytechnic Kaduna with second class upper in Business Administration and obtain her second degree (MBA) from Ladoke Akintola University Ogbomosho. She is a Chartered and an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers, a member of the Nigeria Institute of Management, National Institute of Marketing and The Certified Pension Institute of Nigeria. Bose Henry-Jacobs is a pioneer staff of the company. She has vast experience in stock broking operation, Asset Management and Client Relationship Management. She heads the Dealing Department.
Mr. Temitayo OLORUNFUNMI
Head, Risk
Temitayo holds a Bachelor degree in Business Administration from Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago-Iwoye, Ogun State. He is an Associate of Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers (CIS), an Authorised Dealing Clerk of The Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE) and Authorised Dealer of the National Association of Securities Dealer (NASD).
He has previously worked with Cashcraft Asset Management Limited, Core Trust & Investment Limited and AT&A Asset Management Limited.
He has a lot of experience in Stockbroking, Asset/Portfolio Management, Corporate Finance, Investment Analysis and Financial Advisory.
Mr. Bayode BANJO
Acting Chief Finance Officer
Banjo Bayode is an Accounting graduate of Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago-Iwoye with a second class upper in 2005. He also obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Financial Management in 2014. He is a member of Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria and also holds a professional Certificate from the Nigeria Institute of Management of Nigeria (NIM). He has over 16 years experience in Financial Management. He worked with Layo Sipe & co (Chartered Accountants) from 2007-2008 and as Operations Manager with Moat Hob Bureau de Change Ltd. from 2008- 2010 before joining Springboard Trust and Investment Ltd in December 2010. He currently heads Internal control unit of the company.
Mr. Abiodun Oluwatosin OLAOLUWAPO
Head, Client Services
Olaoluwapo Abiodun has a Bachelor degree in Economics from Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago-Iwoye, Ogun State.. He is an authorized dealing member of the Nigerian Exchange Limited and an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute Of Stockbrokers. He has over 4 years experience in capital market customer services, Registrars liaison , CSCS Plc liaison.
